Forklift Operator Training

Evergreen Safety Council and Bottom Line Loss Control have partnered to offer a 1-day training session which includes the formal instruction and practical (hands-on) training required by law. The operator can choose from:

• sit-down (counter balance)
• stand-up (narrow aisle)
• order picker
• tugger or any style electric pallet jack
• all terrain reach (your location only/call for more information)

This class provides all the necessary classroom and practical training required by the forklift regulation and it prepares the participant for the site-specific evaluation* required by the regulation. [*Note - the forklift code requires that all forklift operators be evaluated by the employer operating forklifts in the actual work environment.

Open enrollment Operator Training classes are offered monthly at NW Handling Systems in Renton, WA, or can take place at your work site. The classroom presentation and written test take 1 1/2 hours to complete. The evaluations of the operators on the equipment take about 15 minutes for experienced operators. Pricing is determined by how many different styles of forklift the operator wants to be certified to operate.
