HST202 – Safety Leadership

This one-day session addresses leadership and management in and for the safety profession.

While most technical certifications are void of this topic, Evergreen’s Training Advisory Committee felt an important aspect of a successful safety program is the ability to influence executive decisions. The day will be spent discussing communications, planning, leadership, and applications as they pertain to the field of safety.

• Participants will bring an issue or question to the session to develop an action plan in order to bring a remedy to the issue.
• The use of statistics will be explored to build on the participant’s knowledge and skills for dealing with management to gain support for health and safety issues.
