Construction Safety Certifications

A comprehensive 6-day training program. Students learn to apply OSHA/L&I policies, standards and procedures to construction safety and health. The CSS increase the participant’s awareness of the safety and health hazards that may be encountered at a natural or human-made disaster site.

The importance and proper use of respiratory equipment, personal protective equipment, and proper decontamination procedures are emphasized. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive ESC's Construction Safety Specialist Certification, the OSHA 30 hour Construction Card and the OSHA (16 hour) 7600 Disaster Site Worker Card.
