FAQ Forklift Instructor TrainingWhat are the prerequisites for the 2-day instructor course?Participants must be knowledgeable and experienced with the equipment they will be training operators on or arrange to be trained as an operator by the instructor.. What is the length and time of the 2-day class?The course runs two days from 7am-1pm each day. There are 2 hours of pre-course review and 2 hours of homework on the first evening. Maximum class size is 9. What is the cost for the Forklift Instructor Class?$1095 for the Complete Instructor Training Package, which includes:
$495 for each additional instructor within six months; $695 after 6 months (instructor manual only) . Aerial Lift Instructor training can be added to Day 2 for $400 – 1st instructor and $300 – each additional instructor. Where is the class held?Course takes place at Renton - Northwest Handling Systems, Inc. – Renton, WA How long is the certification good for?Forklift Instructor Certification through BLLC is good for two years. What about Instructor Recertification?The half-day forklift instructor recertification course is highly recommended every 2 years. Cost of recertification is $195. Recertification is held at the Evergreen Safety Center in Seattle, WA. Class is held from 8 am – 12 pm; Maximum class size is 40. |
