It is designed to provide the participant with in-depth knowledge on a variety of technical safety and health topics. There is significant emphasis on industrial hygiene and safety science. Industrial hygiene topics include hazardous noise measurements and calculations and industrial ventilation/indoor air quality. There is also a one-day session on safety leadership philosophies and models. Successful completion of identified classes within a 6 month period qualifies you for the OSHA 30 Construction completion card. “The Evergreen Safety Council’s Health & Safety Technician Certification is a great learning experience and value for any individual or company I found the instructors to be knowledgeable with valuable hands-on experience in the industry. The curriculum offers participants an opportunity to interact, not only with the instructors but also with other safety professionals to discuss real world experience. I believe that every safety professional and their companies will benefit greatly from the insight and training offered in the HST certification.” Dan Fehrenbacher, Northwest Safety Consulting Services LLC |
