Protective Measures

Are training classes still being held?

Yes! At this time, a limited number of essential classes and online training courses are open.

Please see our calendar for the most up to date schedule. We ask that all students exercise social distancing, cover their coughs or sneezes, and wash hands frequently. Please stay home if you’re sick. Students who need to miss a class may reschedule at no charge.

What to bring to class:

Please bring a face covering, a water bottle, and a baggy lunch as we cannot provide any food or beverage on site.

We’re doing our best to keep you and our employees safe

Evergreen Safety Council is committed to the health and safety of our students, customers, and employees during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Sanitization of facility and equipment

We are frequently sanitizing all surfaces in our facility, in accordance with guidelines from King County Public Health and the CDC. All outside motorcycle equipment is sanitized before and after use.

Social distancing

As required, we have established and implemented social distancing and sanitation measures established by the United States Department of Labor and the Washington State Department of Health Guidelines.

Class sizes have been reduced

We are running smaller training classes to ensure adequate social distance between students. Those who visit our facility for services are asked not to come to our facility if they are experiencing any symptoms. We also encourage those who may be vulnerable to infection to exercise discretion in their decision to participate in our programs.

Our staff is working remotely

Due to the Governor’s Stay at Home order, most of our staff are working remotely to help reduce exposure. Those who work at or visit our facility are screened daily. Should you need to contact us, please use the chat module on our website, or email us directly at esc@esc.org.

Online training is a great alternative!

We have a select number of online programs available as an alternative to in-person training. We encourage the use of these online programs at this time. We are also working with policymakers to get more programs to be approved for online delivery in the future. To see our entire catalog, visit our Online Training Programs Page!
