Washington TCS Requirements
In order to receive your Washington Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) certification, you must submit documentation verifying that you meet the state requirements. If you do not meet the minimum requirements, you may still participate in the course, but you will receive a Traffic Control Technician (TCT) certification instead.
Please complete this form and submit your required documentation prior to class to avoid processing delays.
We cannot issue your certification until all documentation has been received and approved.
Course and certification details:
A TCS is defined as someone who meets the minimum state requirements of one full year (2000 hrs) of traffic controlrelated work and a current flagger certification card.
A TCT is defined as someone who does not meet the required experience and is taking the class for informationalpurposes. A TCT must also have a valid flagger certification card.
