Frequently Asked Questions

Authorized Training Providers

What are the costs to operate as an Authorized Training Provider (ATP)?

Being an ATP with Evergreen Safety Council involves the following costs:

  • Annual licensing fee: The cost to use the curriculum. All licensing fees go toward program administration, curriculum development, and recordkeeping.
  • Shipping and handling fees: For courses that require physical handbooks or other materials, course materials are provided free to ATPs. However, for each order placed, the ATP will be billed at cost for shipping fees, plus a small handling fee.
  • Certification processing fee: A per-student certification processing fee is billed to the ATP for certification issuance.
  • Initial instructor training and certification: Each instructor candidate must pay the course fee and attend ESC’s train-the-trainer course. Instructor certification is valid for 3 years. Instructors must attend regular recertification classes to renew their certifications.
